What You'll Do
- Create high-quality diagnostic images by combining your knowledge of anatomy and pathology with your technical expertise at the ultrasound equipment.
- Guide patients through their exams, adapting your approach to their age, condition and individual needs while helping them feel comfortable and informed.
- Use your clinical judgment to optimize each study, following established protocols while prioritizing image quality and patient safety.
- Evaluate your images in real time for quality, accuracy and completeness, making adjustments when needed to help deliver a successful exam.
- Keep care moving by partnering with physicians and the imaging team and ensuring images and relevant clinical information are available for timely review.
What We're Looking For
Required
- Education: Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography or Sonography Program; or CAAHEP-recognized Sonography Program, required.
- Licensure/Certification: NH Medical Center-Certified and registered by ARRT in Sonography or certified and registered by ARDMS in a minimum of one specialty - RT(S) or ARDMS within 6 months of hire, required.
- Licensure/Certification: NH Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility or Hospital Outpatient Department-Certified and registered by ARRT in Sonography or certified and registered by ARDMS in a minimum of one specialty - RT(S) or ARDMS, required.
- Licensure/Certification: NH Medical Group Office-Certified and registered by ARRT in Sonography or certified and registered by ARDMS in a minimum of one specialty - RT(S) or ARDMS, required.
- Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in sonography, preferred.
