Anesthesiology - Pediatrics Physician

Practice at a Level I Trauma Center with a broad pediatric surgical scope and no scheduled call. ATC Locums is seeking three full-time Pediatric Anesthesiologists for FMLA coverage beginning November 2026, with potential to extend through October 2027.

Opportunity Highlights

• Location: Dayton, Ohio
• Setting: Hospital-based operating rooms at an ACS Level I Trauma Center
• Coverage: November 1, 2026 February 28, 2027 and/or April 30, 2027, with possible extension through October 2027
• Schedule: Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
• Call: None
• Volume: Approximately surgical cases per day
• ORs: 14 operating rooms supported by a 22-physician anesthesia department
• EMR: Hospital EMR
• Patient Population: Neonatal through adult

Clinical Scope

Physicians will provide anesthesia across a diverse range of cases, including:

• Neonatal and pediatric general surgery
• Adult general surgery
• Neurosurgery
• Complex orthopedics
• Thoracic surgery (excluding open-heart)
• Plastics, urology, dental, GI and radiology procedures
• Ventilation management and arterial line placement

Cardiac, transplant and cath lab cases are excluded, allowing you to focus on a broad pediatric anesthesia practice.

Team & Requirements

Work alongside a collegial team of RNs, surgical techs, PCAs, surgeons, proceduralists and APPs. The role includes a mix of independent practice and CRNA supervision within a care-team model .

Requirements: BC/BE in Pediatric Anesthesiology, completed Pediatric Anesthesia Fellowship, active Ohio license, and BLS, ACLS and PALS. IMLC is not accepted.
